Katie Adler - End of Life Doula
Founder & Director of Tidy Endings
Katie brings over 20 years in counselling roles, focused on helping people make thoughtful, empowered decisions about their lives - with care, insights based on current information, and clarity of purpose.

Katie’s approach draws on a range of skills, including:
-
Narrative counselling
-
Perceptive questioning
-
Active listening
-
Genuine, non-judgmental care for clients
-
The ability to gently probe & unpack what matters most to each client.

Katie has supported many clients through major life transitions in her roles as an executive career coach, counsellor, and mentor, and these same principles now guide her work with a different group of clients to offer informed insights, and a calm and personalised End-of-Life preparation service to those facing some of life’s most important decisions.

Her interest in this field deepened during the COVID-19 period in Melbourne, when she saw how uncertainty and system gaps made end-of-life planning harder & more arduous than it needed to be. Motivated to help, she created a flexible, holistic Advance Planning Service - designed to give individuals more clarity, autonomy, and peace of mind, both for themselves and their families.

Katie continues to speak regularly at community events and information sessions, sharing knowledge and encouraging open, compassionate conversations around death and dying. She is passionate about supporting a more thoughtful, prepared, and person-centred approach to end of life preparation.

Katie holds multiple tertiary qualifications and is a Certified End-of-Life Doula (Australian Doula College). She also holds certification in First Aid/CPR (St John Ambulance), a Working With Children Check, National Police Check, and Public Liability insurance.
